About as mediocre as you can get. Got the protein power or something (chicken and steak). It was just bland. Pollo tropical chop is better and that's not saying much. I saw the cook drop a tray on the ground upside down, but threw back on the grill in front of me. At least pretend to go into the back to get a clean one. I won't go back, but if you are looking for cheap, fill me up food, fast. It's better than going to a fast food restaurant.

Stopped in twice in one week because they made such a good impression on me. The chicken was very fresh & tasty. They prepare fast, healthy & affordable meals with a nice menu selection. I know this BocaFoodFind will become one of my fave go-to places.

This place is not worth the GROUPON. Avoid! Got a refund for the first time ever, due to a horrible experience (ranging from customer service to the dry food!)

Chick N Chop has chicken bowls and different types of chicken sandwiches. Although they had good customer service, I was a little disappointed after eating here. Their chicken, which is their specialty, has absolutely nothing special about it. It was a little tasteless and dry. The place is very small and so are their portions. I'd much rather just go to Chipotle and get a chicken bowl.

Let me start by declaring I did not get sick from the food nor find hair in it, as one Yelper reviewed. AMBIENCE: none. Or perhaps it was just ok and not my style. Whichever, the signage and pictures on walls are drab, menus posted are a bit complicated to read (too much words) and the tables and chairs were 70s style. The TV in the corner provided for a distraction from the decor. Music with vibe would have been better. CHICKEN: grilled and ok. Not great. seemed like a small portion of chicken (I had a platter with 2 sides), maybe I was just hungry. It did taste fresh and wasn't dried out. That earns it 3 stars. SIDES: the creamed spinach was runny and tasteless, even if it was green. The baked sweet potato was huge and yummy. The Mac and cheese was yucky tasting and bland. There were many more, these are the ones I tasted. Although I've got a bunch of negatives here there were some positive things (chicken ok) . Overall, I realized that the reason I drove past this place for 8 years and never went in was cause it looked depressing from the street (and it was), although I always said it can't be terrible if they have survived so long. I guess it serves a niche (those with real limited $$, not pricey in a very pricey area) but surely not for me. Oh, the chicken platter with 2 sides was $11. Oh, a GROUPON brought me in. I won't return, though.

Update: We ordered 5 dishes for delivery from them.. Two were wrong and three of the five plates all had hair that looked liked pubes in it. Working in the biz I understand sometimes there is a hair that gets loose but to find so many is disgusting. Also we ordered online so they have a print out of what we ordered I don't understand how they make the wrong thing and send it out. Even a completely different salad then what we ordered.

This place is perhaps the dirtiest restaurant in all of East Boca. I ordered take out. There seems to be zero management (at least when I was there). Look, chicken and rice isn't that hard. But, it's good. However, a absolutely dirty restaurant with zero management makes even a simple meal seem bad.

Very good chicken. I got the heathy bowl with chicken and steak. The portion was rather large and the taste was right on. I ate here a few times and it has always been great.

If you're looking for a very quick and somewhat healthy lunch this place is ok. It is not East Boca fancy, but the food is tasty, affordable and fast.

Ordered Chick N Chop from GrubHub and received the food very quickly. The order was perfect and everything tasted great. Loved the variety in the menu and the flavorful chicken! Definitely ordering from them again.

Ordered a gyro platter, superior grill and chop, grape leaves, hummus, a double espresso, cappuccino, and assortment of extra sauces. I received a call that they were out of hummus and requested a small Greek salad instead. What arrived was a cold and soggy gyro platter, with cold French fries, with a sauce of some kind running out the side of the container, not a Greek salad but a container of lettuce and tomato, none of the requested sauces, no espresso, what appears to be two cups of American coffee with cinnamon clumps, no grape leaves, but a container of green beans, and cold and dry chicken and rice. Unfortunately the manager was not there when I called regarding the errors, and the employee made no offers to remedy the situation other than to call back the next day or call grub hub. When I offered to return the food, rather than offer to have the order redone correctly for pickup, I was again advised that there was still nothing he could do. I did contact grubhub, and within minutes received an email indicating my order was cancelled and a refund would be issued. Much credit to grubhub for its excellent customer service. This restaurant should consider taking some cues from grubhub as far as customer service is concerned because I certainly will not be ordering from here again, and will gladly advise anyone else who may be considering ordering from here not to do so, as they will not only likely receive randomly substituted incorrect food, but barely edible food at that.

Horrible service! The moment I walk in the cook is sitting down where the customers sit. As he asks for my order he's on the phone talking to someone from his earpiece. Then he gives me a teaspoon on cheese and charges me $1 when I ask for more. Then I ask for sour cream and he told they were out. I ask for a type of sauce and they didn't have that either! This place sucks! Management needs to take over if they would like to stay in business! But u lost mind and will never go back! Or anyone else that I know around in Boca.

I really have to give this place a 5star in hopes to boost their rating! they cook your chicken in front of you, and have lots of options for pre-made sides. If you want to have a good clean meal, with no questions on what's in the dish, Chick N Chop is a healthy local option.
